SCHOLARSHIPS
Academic/achievement scholarships & grants are awarded to GBU members who are full-time students in freshman, undergraduate, graduate, and two-year programs.

STUDENT GRANT PROGRAM
The Student Grant program is designed to assist 8th grade GBU members with associated costs in their transition into high school curriculum.

NEWBORN CHILD BENEFIT
Term insurance is provided to newborn children whose natural and lawful parent(s) are GBU members.

ORPHAN BENEFIT
In the event of death of both parents (one being a GBU member for at least 2 months), financial support is provided to member children under the age of 18.

PRESCRIPTION DISCOUNT PROGRAM
The ScriptSave card is available to members at no cost! Use this card to receive discounts on your prescriptions.

MAGNETIC MEDIC TAKE NOTE POUCH
Did you know that paramedics, EMTs, firefighters, policemen and other support personnel are trained to look inside your refrigerator for pertinent medical information? After you fill in the necessary information, place this pouch inside your refrigerator and you'll be ready for any emergency situation.

MEDICALERT^® BENEFIT
GBU will pay 50% of the basic cost for an initial MedicAlert^® enrollment fee for GBU insured members.  Upon enrollment, the member will receive from MedicAlert^® a stainless-steel MedicAlert^® emblem which can be worn as a bracelet or a necklace.

CONCORDIA LANGUAGE VILLAGES
Annual sponsorship of junior and adult members to learn German culture at the Concordia Language Villages in Bemidji, Minnesota.

The Recommender Benefit allows GBU members to earn extra bonus $$$ by recommending members to GBU.

FINGERPRINT KITS
GBU members can obtain an inkless fingerprint kit for their children and/or family members for a minimal cost of $3. This kit provides a clean and convenient way to record the fingerprints and physical characteristics of your family members in case of abduction, runaway, etc.

OTHER FRATERNAL BENEFITS
GBU Reporter (our Society's bi-monthly membership magazine), membership contests,  GBU Specialty Items & Fraternal Library Books available for purchase, and social & community activities for the entire family.
